I mentioned in an earlier post that my friend Kamie was placed with a little boy (Gage) about 2 1/2 weeks before we got Caleb. Her baby shower was Saturday so I decided to make a long weekend and head up to Utah on Wednesday. Caleb and I drove up with my parents on Wednesday. He did really well, only fussing when he got hungry. When we got to Tiff and Greg's, we were able to go watch Evan's final soccer game. It had been raining earlier that day (snowing in other places) so Caleb and I sat in the car to watch Evan play. He did really well and loved to show off his skills to all of us. While we were in Utah, the weather didn't really cooperate for outside fun. It was cloudy, windy and rainy so we spent alot of time indoors. We did get to go on a few walks and Evan loved showing Caleb the sights of the town. Evan also showed Caleb and me the lambs and chickens that live at their neighbor's houses (even though Caleb wasn't too interested this time, I'm sure he'll enjoy the animals as he gets older).

Rodney came up Friday night and on Saturday my mom, Tiffany, Caleb and I headed down to Kamie and Gage's shower. I made a shower cake for the event. It was nice to see some people I hadn't seen in awhile (thanks for the gift Melissa!!) and see Kamie and Gage again.
Saturday night, Caleb went to his first restaurant, Roy's (formerly known as Fat Jacks Pizza). He did pretty good while we were there. We headed home the next day. Again he did great on the drive home. Hopefully he will continue his good behavior on trips.
