Thanksgiving is probably one of my favorite holidays. Not because of getting to gorge myself on yummy food, or hitting the Black Friday sales. No it holds a special place in my heart as a year round track 5 teacher. It marks the beginning of my TRACK BREAK!!! For those of you who don't know much aboout year-round schools the students and teachers are assigned a track. Then throughout the school year you get random weeks off to make up for the summer break you don't get. Welcome to overcrowding in Las Vegas. Anyways being on track 5 means that I finish up school right before Thanksgiving, and then I don't go back until January. You heard me right, January (don't hate me Tiffany, just keep thinking May 26, May 26 :). I get the whole month of December off. I love it becuase I can get my house decorated for Christmas and then I can get all my Christmas shopping done.

(No he's not the Incredible Hulk! Cory & Taeko don't really want pictures of thier kids on the internet, therefore the green face.)
Anyways back to the reason for my post; Thanksgiving. This year we were with my family for Thanksgiving. My parents came down with Evan on Tuesday night and Greg and Tiff came down on Wednesday. It was fun to have everyone together. It was especially fun to see all the cousins together. The twins are almost 2 and are really starting to play more with the other kids. The older kids entertained all of the little ones so that left the adults free to visit, nap and plan their shopping adventure for Friday. The food was great (check out the fruit turkey

) and we all had fun. I'm thankful we were all able to be together and that I have such a great family!!
Too much turkey!!
