Birthday

So on Saturday my family got together to celebrate birthdays for Derek, Taeko, Greg, Dax and Tiffany. We had dinner and then opened presents. Everything went well and everyone had a good time. They all liked their presents especially Dax and Derek. Dax got his skateboard and helmet so now he can start riding. Derek got some Stars Wars legos and the Stars Wars Saga game for his game boy. He was so excited. He wanted to go home right then and play it. His happiness didn't last too long though. When he opened the game, there was no cartridge inside. He was pretty upset. So Tiffany and I went down to Target at 9:30 pm to hopefully exchange it. We were afraid they wouldn't believe us that there was no cartridge to begin with. When we got there and explained what happened to the lady she acted like it was no big deal. I guess it happens quite frequently. So we got a new game and made sure there was something actually in it.
I took the new game to Derek today. When we got there Troy told me he had been up at 6:30 am looking out the window every so often asking what kind of car Aunt Carrie drives. Needless to say he was super excited when Rodney and I got there. He took the game and started playing it right away and he was happy again.
