Who is this guy?

I'm sure you are all wondering who this strange guy is that showed up in my classroom on Wednesday. Well it is Rodney paying tribute to the 80's.

This Friday is the big rival game between Rodney's school and another high school in the valley. So to show his school spirit he decided to dress up for 80's day. We have to give a big thanks to Steve and Tracy for their help in creating Rodney's outfit (shirt and mullet hat are theirs). The students loved Rodney's get up and the teachers that saw him at my school thought he looked hilarious. You've got to love the rolled up khakis and the thin white tie. He even did the slip on shoes with no socks. The best part has to be the mullet hat. The only outfit that would have been better is if he had a white linen suit like the guys from Miami Vice.

A few of my students asked who he was and instead of trying to explain why my husband was dressed that way (they have seen him looking normal) I just said "some guy". The other kindergarten teacher thought he was one of my parents.

I've decided I'm glad that my husband likes his hair short and could never go for the mullet look. I'm also glad that we are not in the 80's any more!!
